Contents page photos

I took a variety of photos around school for my contents page. These images are used to represent current events goin on in school and too be talked about later in my magazine. The image of the fruit was hard to capture due to the lighting of the library. The image of the snowy school scene was effective as the snow fell in the for ground of the photo

Front page image

After photographing students around school, I chose the image that represented the happy moral of school and well presented Whitley Bay High School uniform. It is important to give the right impression and welcoming, friendly appearance on the front of the cover to draw the students into reading the magazine.  The three images above are a selection of the photos I took of Stella before choosing the image I thought was best and most successful for the front of my magazine.

update, 1st feb

Today i took more photos for my front cover. I already had the main photo of the blonde girl for my front cover but i needed some smaller photos for the front cover to represent school events and one to be used in the contents page. I used the examples of the school magazines in the resources file to inspire me about what sort of smaller photos i should include on the front of my magazine.
